The project “Trust Your Inner Energy” was developed by young people from six different countries: Poland, Armenia, Georgia, Spain, Croatia and Romania. Its goal was to enhance participants' entrepreneurship and leadership skills while increasing awareness about mental health through games, seminars and practical exercises. We aimed to teach young people how to find calmness in their daily lives and manage stress more effectively. Additionally, we sought to raise awareness about the current challenges in the modern world, focusing on the environmental side and the way it affects young people. Throughout the project, we emphasized stress levels among young people and the challenges they face, such as racism, unemployment and other forms of discrimination. The initiative facilitated an intercultural exchange among participants concerned with environmental issues, providing them with a safe space to discuss ecological challenges in their countries and promote personal growth. The supportive environment of the exchange allowed participants to discuss and compare situations in their countries. We brought attention to the ideas of Green Entrepreneurship and Circular Economy, in which reusing, repairing and recycling are the norm. Our objective was to find effective solutions in eco-friendly businesses. The mobility program was full of practical activities designed to help participants reconnect with nature. Based on the research about how the environment plays a pivotal role in our well-being, we focused on promoting environmental protection and sustainable practices. Our mission was to learn how to reduce the overwhelming anxiety of a fast-paced modern life by reconnecting with our inner selves and nature. Another important objective was to raise environmental awareness, minimize our impact on nature and emphasize the importance of living in harmony with it, not against it. We also aimed to promote teamwork and cooperation among participants while respecting their differences. Since the young people came from different countries, the project offered a chance to exchange good practices between places where HR and sustainable solutions are more developed and those where such practices are practically non-existent. We also introduced practices that are easy to implement in stressful situations, like breathing and mindfulness techniques. The project also provided some participants with their first experience with working on an international initiative. We encouraged language learning and adopted an inclusive approach, as we supported those with fewer opportunities, particularly socio-economic problems or those from remote areas.
