"DeStress Project" was a common initiative of young people from Poland, Ukraine, and Romania. Recent years have shown and proven how brutal and changeable the reality we live in can be. We cannot fully cope with the difficulties of everyday life, overcome negative thinking, and fight stress and deeply rooted anxiety and fear of the future. Additionally, our peers from Ukraine fear every day for their own and their loved ones' safety and lives. The joint venture helped us significantly improve the comfort of our lives, and also motivated young people to take care of their own mental health, and schools and non-governmental organizations to support them in these activities. We achieved the following main goal within the project: - developing competencies related to taking care of one's own mental health and well-being in the context of increasing and persistent stress, anxiety, and fear caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine. We achieved this goal through the following specific goals: - expanding knowledge and raising awareness of the impact of phenomena such as stress, anxiety, or fear on our physical and mental health, as well as the consequences they bring; - expanding knowledge and raising awareness of the forms of help that can be provided to us, young people, in such a difficult period in which we currently exist; - expanding competences related to coping with stress, anxiety or fear of the coming tomorrow using various techniques and methods; - developing attitudes such as empathy, solidarity, tolerance, mutual help and support;
