Considering the statistics on youth unemployment rates, which averaged 19.46 percent in the European Union from 2000 to 2023, the situation is even more challenging in countries outside the EU. This is particularly true when factoring in ongoing conflicts such as the war in Ukraine. All partner organizations and FRSP acknowledged the importance of promoting entrepreneurship among young people from the countries such as Italy (youth unemployment rate 24,66), Spain (28%), Czechia (7.10%), Portugal (20,80%), (21,1), Georgia (expected to reach 32%), and Poland (10.50%) according to the second half of 2023. It is tough for young people in such nations to get a good job. They are made to work at jobs they don't want to, relocate overseas and away from their families, or remain jobless while living with their parents and consuming social media or binge-watching Netflix. Conversely, relations between Poland and the Czech Republic are going great. Both nations provide quite a wealth of employment options, but the one that seems to be most fulfilling is encouraging young people to start their own businesses. More and more young individuals (20–30 years old) are starting their own businesses. Therefore, the partners were not chosen at random. By implementing this initiative, we hoped to provide the students in those nations with valuable experience as our foundation is based in the Silesian region. It's notable that this region blends long standing traditions with cutting-edge technological advancements in its economy. Presently, there are over 403,000 enterprises in the region, along with two special economic zones and numerous ongoing investments. Entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role in driving economic growth and generating employment opportunities. Like many other areas, entrepreneurship demands a long-term perspective and a firm belief in the capabilities of young people. Inspired by subjects such as social media, business, and start-ups, local volunteers of the FRSP foundation came up with the idea and worked together to build a youth exchange program. We believe it's crucial to support young people and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset from an early age. This includes fostering initiative, confidence, the ability to take measured risks, creativity, public speaking, and organizational skills. Such development will enable them to realize their full potential and effectively integrate into today's workforce.
