Our project “Tolerance - The sign of strength” was aimed at spreading the idea of tolerance, equality and openness, respect for others regardless of nationality, religion, gender or social status. We reflected on the problem of discrimination and racism , together we searched for solutions to the refugee problem in Europe , built dialogue and understanding across divides. Our activities took the form of active learning, participants analyzed issues, held discussions and debates, took part in games, quizzes and competitions to encourage active participation. Participants also learned how to develop and then present various topics in front of an audience. The long-term goal is to build an active European society, also aware of existing problems and ready to face them.
