Participation in the project allowed us to react, to address the extremely difficult situation that our societies have become (as a result of the outbreak of the war in Ukraine), to gain knowledge and experience that then helped us to provide real support to refugees arriving from Ukraine to our countries. The main theme of our project was "Acceptance and integration of refugees and migrants". To delve into the subject of this issue, we used tools from the field of theatre arts. Preparing and staging the play "In The Theater You Have To Be Ready For Anything" about the fate of a Ukrainian theatre group that had to confront the outbreak of war in their country and, through this, an extremely difficult reality, allowed us to create a project space within which we had the opportunity to express our emotions, fear, frustration, disagreement with evil, which had accumulated in us in connection with the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Tools from the field of theatre arts helped us express ourselves, find ideas, goals, meaning in life, which is still marked by contact with refugees from Ukraine and, through this, unimaginable human dramas. Participation in the project "In The Theater You Have To Be Ready For Anything" also allowed us to acquire knowledge and experience in relation to formal and legal matters related to issues related to refugees and migrants, providing assistance/support to refugees from Ukraine (in theory and, what is extremely important, in practice). Participation in the project allowed us to become responsible, substantively and mentally prepared citizens to provide real assistance/support to refugees from Ukraine. We felt a great need to get involved in the process of accepting and providing support to refugees from Ukraine, but we were also fully aware that for this assistance to be effective we had to understand a lot, learn a lot in this area. This was the purpose of our participation in the project "In The Theater You Have To Be Ready For Anything". There were of course also smaller goals of our participation in the project, such as the need to: experience cultural knowledge, acquire attitudes of tolerance and openness to diversity and otherness, develop language and digital competences and work in international groups, gain experience in implementing projects under the Erasmus+ program, develop project and European awareness, learn how to use tools from the field of culture and art to achieve social, civic and educational goals, acquire awareness of the use of sustainable ecological practices, help in the development of our organizations by creating and strengthening a network of international contacts (cooperation). We also managed to achieve all these goals. In the unanimous opinion of the project participants and the authorities of the organizations participating in the project, the youth exchange "In The Theater You Have To Be Ready For Anything" ended in complete success (100% realization of the goals and needs related to the implementation of the project)
