Organization Information Our organization, which implemented the project "Human Rights in Action," is deeply committed to promoting human rights, tolerance, and intercultural dialogue. Our activities focus on educating young people and building an open, civic society. The project involved partner organizations from Poland, Portugal, Romania, and Ukraine, who worked together to achieve the set goals. Project Objectives The main objective of the "Human Rights in Action" project was to promote tolerance and intercultural dialogue. We aimed to educate young people about the importance of tolerance, understanding, and respect for cultural diversity, as well as to counteract all forms of intolerance, racism, and xenophobia. The project also aimed to support active youth participation in social life and to promote democratic values, equality, and human rights. We strive to develop participants' skills, particularly in terms of communication in foreign languages, social, civic, and entrepreneurial competencies. An important element was also increasing cultural awareness and artistic expression skills through workshops and theatrical performances. Education and counteracting discrimination were key aspects of the project. We aimed to raise participants' awareness of the causes and effects of discrimination and to educate them on methods of counteracting these phenomena and promoting inclusiveness. The project also aimed to strengthen international cooperation. Building lasting partnerships between organizations from different countries allowed for the sharing of experiences and best practices in the field of human rights education. By implementing the "Human Rights in Action" project, we aimed to raise awareness of the importance of counteracting all forms of intolerance and discrimination. We wanted participants to understand the importance of developing language, social, and civic skills. Creating a space for intercultural dialogue aimed at better understanding and cooperation among young people from different cultures. An important element was promoting European values such as human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, and human rights. Organized workshops, theatrical performances, and publications enabled the practical application of the acquired knowledge. Additionally, we expressed solidarity with Ukraine, especially in the context of ongoing conflicts. The implementation of these objectives aimed not only at educating young people but also at strengthening local and international communities. We promoted European values and built the foundation for future intercultural cooperation, which is crucial for creating a united, tolerant, and multicultural society.
