Project titled "Building bridges" was a joint work of young people from Poland, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Romania and Hungary. The project was carried out between November 19 and 26, 2023 in Murzasichle. The idea of the project itself was born at the end of 2021 during the "Digital Entrepreneurs" exchange, carried out by our organization in 2022, after which we returned to the topic several times, awakened by the geopolitical situation in the world. The aim of our exchange was to promote intercultural dialogue, counteract unfavorable phenomena such as racism and xenophobia, combat prejudice and develop tolerance. As part of our exchange, we developed methods of spreading social awareness in the field of combating all manifestations of exclusion and marginalization, and learned examples of good practices regarding the integration of emigrants to European nations. We touched on topics related to the approach to cultural differences, diversity, social integration and support for excluded people, especially young people. Through our activities, we promoted involvement in civic activity, democracy and knowledge of the mechanisms functioning in democracies. The European Union creates a community, this community gives us many amazing opportunities, but in order for it to function properly, it also needs to be cared for and nurtured. During the project, we attached great importance to the promotion of active participation in elections and fundamental values such as solidarity, tolerance and freedom. These activities were particularly important due to this year's elections to the European Parliament.
