Quality and innovation of youth work

Objectives

The project was initiated by youth workers from Poland, Spain, Ukraine, Georgia, and Armenia, following the implementation of the "Migrants Out the Loop" project. The primary objective of this project is to address and counteract the pervasive issues of hate speech, stalking, and cyberstalking both online and in real life. The project aims to equip youth workers with the necessary tools and knowledge to educate and protect young people, aged 18-30, who are active internet users, high school students, and university students, from the harmful consequences of these phenomena. Objectives of the Project: 1. Awareness and Education: - Raise awareness among youth workers and young people about how to recognize hate speech, stalking, and cyberstalking. - Educate young people on what constitutes hate, stalking, and cyberstalking, how these issues manifest, and what actions can be taken when affected by these phenomena. 2. Promote Tolerance and Peaceful Attitudes: - Foster peaceful and tolerant attitudes among young people both online and in real life. 3. Facilitate Intensive Contacts: - Encourage intensive interactions and collaborations between youth workers from different countries. 4. Professional Development: - Enhance the professional development of youth workers and volunteers from partner organizations by providing them with skills and methods to address hate speech and stalking. 5. Digital Literacy and Citizenship: - Integrate digital work with young people to transfer core societal values to hard-to-reach youth groups. The project is aligned with the Erasmus+ programme priorities and the EU Code of Conduct, which aims to prevent and counter the spread of illegal hate speech online
