The objectives of the project include developing the participants' skills in designing and facilitating LEGO Serious Play activities and programs that promote futures thinking, enhancing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on, experiential learning activities, encouraging them to reflect on their own futures and develop a personal plan for professional development, and facilitating networking and exchange of best practices among the participants. Our project will provide a practical guidance on how to combine futures thinking with the LEGO Serious Play method, and enable youth workers and organizations to shape the future with their hands. By doing so, we aim to equip young people with the skills and confidence they need to make informed decisions about their futures, and to be better prepared to face unforeseen challenges. Specific objectives: -Enhance the ability of youth workers to think about alternative futures, imagine the unimaginable and go beyond the patterns of the present; -To introduce the concept of futures thinking and its relevance to youth work -Provide training in Futures Thinking and Lego Serious Play methodology, enabling youth workers to integrate the two approaches in their work with young people; -Foster the development of creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills among youth workers; -Foster a culture of innovation, creativity and proactive engagement among youth workers and organizations involved in the project; -Enable youth workers to bring out values, beliefs, expectations, hopes and project them into a desired future, while restoring confidence in their ability to act in the present; -Empower youth workers to shape the future with their hands by enabling them to co-create a vision of the future with young people and to take steps towards realizing this vision. -To equip youth workers with the knowledge and skills needed to promote futures thinking among young people using the LEGO Serious Play method -To create an opportunity for youth workers to network, share their experiences, and exchange best practices -To encourage youth workers to think critically and creatively about their own futures and the future of youth work
