Our project is a typical example of a situation in which some local decision-makers behaved controversially on the subject of extreme impact investments, and residents, having learned about it, began to organize a resistance movement that began to educate other residents about the dangers that have been passed over, dangers carried by the inactivity of the residents themselves. We began to carry out grassroots social action, which resulted in a number of protests against the planned investments, in the face of the passivity of the relevant decision-makers: np. https://lublin.tvp.pl/64439336/9-listopada-2022 An engaged group of young people will initiate, lead and promote a series of meetings that we will conduct with residents of municipalities in the Biala district (because the planned investments are taking place in more than one municipality, due to the poultry slaughterhouse of the corporation concentrated in the district).
