Project “Voices of YOUTH in European SMART CITY” focused on facilitating the involvement of young people from Poland and Greece in democratic life in Europe, particularly regarding ensuring that their voices were heard in the areas of infrastructure and SMART CITY development. As a concrete result, we aimed for young people to be able to make their voices heard through the formulation of positions, proposals, and recommendations in the field of SMART CITY solutions. The objectives of the project were to: a) increase the active participation of young people in democratic life and ensure their voices were heard, especially in the SMART CITY field b) raise awareness among decision-makers about the opinions of young people c) develop and sustain innovative forms of youth participation and youth dialogue with decision-makers d) enhance digital competences and media literacy, particularly critical thinking and the ability to assess and work with information and understand the principles of democracy.
