The project was initiated by a group of young people who came up with the idea of carrying out joint activities, set out the main assumptions and timeline, and approached the EPI Association for support in its implementation. Our main goal was to create a space for young people to actively participate in democratic life at the local, regional, national, and European levels, and to strengthen their civic engagement. We wanted to provide young people with real opportunities to have an impact, to learn through action, and to develop key competences needed in the labor market. Another important aim of the project was to promote among young people a sense of responsibility for the environment, climate change mitigation, and nature protection. By July 2025, we planned to create a Youth Code on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), designed to encourage the introduction of pro-ecological habits in schools and local communities. In parallel, we developed three five-year eco-plans for schools, helping them move closer to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Another key task was the introduction of a method of collective decision-making among at least 30 young people, as well as the development of competences among a minimum of 40 participants, essential for both professional and social life.
