When applying for the project, we had in mind extending school activities to include the aspect of multiculturalism and diversity, as well as offering activities in this area to the local community. As each of the schools is attended by foreign pupils, we saw the need to exchange experiences and work in the area of cultural permeation, the need to develop pupils' language competences - communication in English, communication and breaking down barriers. The implementation of the project resulted from the needs diagnosed in the partner schools. In the case of the two schools, from Poland and Greece, pupils often did not have the opportunity to travel, to get to know the world, due to their distance from large urban centres, the schools have limited access to cultural centres. In contrast, the problem for the Palermo school was, among other things, addiction to smartphones and social media. There was therefore a need to get students interested in valuable content and activities such as culture, art, the creative process and broadening their horizons. Teachers were looking for new teaching methods and ways of organising the school to improve language competences, digital skills, confidence and self-esteem.
