One of the most important problems for immigrants is identity conflict. After some time, they begin to feel that they do not belong to their own country or to the country in which they live. Sport has a unifying power and brings people together. Team sports games can help build new relationships based on trust and acceptance, break stereotypes and overcome conflicts. Sport encourages refugees to work together towards a common goal. The collective energy of sport can be therapeutic, transformative and healing. Our partners from Croatia and Hungary already have experience in this field, and we schools from Poland and Turkey wanted to benefit from their knowledge and promote equality through mixed sports activities. Increasing the number of Erasmus+ school-based educational projects related to migrants and refugees in Europe can increase participants' knowledge and awareness about migration and create a pan-European network of teachers, trainers, trainers and sports staff who work in Erasmus+ projects related to migrants and refugees.
