“All we need is green!” aimed to encourage students, teachers, and anyone interested in the topic of sustainable development to implement simple steps to raise ecological awareness, which engaged them as responsible citizens in actively changing their environmental habits for the better. The planned activities included meetings with partners, joint work on solving institutional problems, and promotion of good environmental practices. The activities culminated in the “Eco Revolution” event, aimed at popularizing our ideas among the local community with the participation of local authorities and the support of experts. Our goal was also to develop key competences of students and digital skills of students and teachers, so that they serve sustainable development.
Climate change and environmental degradation pose a threat to Europe and the entire world. Actions to protect the environment and combat global warming should be a priority in every sphere of human life. By implementing this project, we wanted to develop and strengthen the ecological attitudes of students, parents, and the local community. Another goal was to find ways to use waste, reduce its production and energy consumption, and implement among students, and through them also parents and the local environment, an attitude of care for the environment and combating climate change. We also felt the need to strengthen digital competences and raise the level of education through the exchange of experiences at the European level.
