Our main goal was to raise awareness of global water challenges and give students and teachers practical skills to address them. We wanted young people to understand the causes and consequences of water pollution, think critically, and act responsibly in their daily lives. Another important objective was to strengthen international cooperation between Poland, Turkey, and Romania, allowing participants to share ideas, exchange good practices, and work together on sustainable solutions.
We applied because we recognized the urgent need to raise awareness about water pollution, scarcity, and unequal access to clean water. Traditional teaching methods often don’t provide students with enough practical skills or critical thinking opportunities. The project responded to this gap by offering innovative learning experiences and international cooperation, helping young people and teachers understand the importance of clean water and how to act responsibly.
