The main objective of the project was to increase the competitiveness of the social economy sector by developing, testing and making available for widespread use a competence model of social intrapreneurship. The specific objectives: 1. Critical insight and analysis of the European Competence Framework in terms of definition, valorisation, recognition and support of intrapersonal competences. 2. Development and dissemination of a conceptual model for the validation, training and strengthening of intrapreneurial competences in the social economy sector. . 3. To improve the intrapersonal methodological and substantive competences of workers in and around the social economy sector through training and knowledge transfer. 4. Supporting an intra-entrepreneurial ecosystem and culture in social economy entities fostering the development of intra-entrepreneurial attitudes, creativity and innovation in social economy organisations. 5. to increase the substantive potential of partners and the internationalisation of activities through joint project planning and implementation 6. development of international partnerships and networking through implemented project activities, exchange of experiences, working methods and approaches.
The project was developed in response to key challenges that the partners believe the social economy sector faces in Europe. EFORT Foundation's experience as a broker of two local social economy clusters has shown that social economy entities face significant barriers to development. So far, support for social economy entities has mainly focused on activation and integration aspects, neglecting key aspects of management, organisational culture or entrepreneurial competence. In this context, the concept of intrapreneurship has the potential to fill the competence gap in the sector, offering a new approach to strengthening the competitiveness of social enterprises. The project addressed the needs of: - To develop managerial and leadership skills in social economy entities - Strengthening an organisational culture conducive to innovation in social enterprises - To create a universal model to support intrapreneurship adapted to the specificities of the sector - To provide practical tools and methodologies for educators and workers in the sector - To internationalise the activities of partner organisations and exchange good practices at European level
