The project was initiated in response to the growing demand for knowledge and competences related to the development of the green labour market and for the sustainable development of European economies. Dynamic economic and environmental changes, observed at both national and European level, clearly indicate the need to develop green competences in various industries and adapt them to professions related to green production and environmentally friendly technologies. We have identified a significant competence gap and a low level of knowledge and environmental awareness that hinder the development of entrepreneurship in the green economy sectors. This applies in particular to areas such as the design of ecological packaging, natural plant protection products, the production of healthy food and the use of renewable energy sources – the design of mini biogas plants based on agricultural waste. . These are key sectors for human health, quality of life and environmental protection. The project thus addressed real educational, environmental and economic needs.
