Objectives

The aim of the project is to develop, through transnational cooperation, a dedicated vocational course encompassing theoretical and practical components, implemented through professional internships. The course was to be developed taking into account the partners' experiences, the latest knowledge, the needs of vocational schools and core curricula, and the expectations of entrepreneurs. After project completion, the course and all materials necessary for the implementation of its assumptions by another organization will be made available as open educational resources. The partners aim to ensure that the results achieved have a significant impact not only on the partnership members but also on other institutions in the business and education sectors, as well as on a large number of end-users of support – students. Building lasting inter-institutional links at the European level and establishing a European network of cooperation between organizationsl. Implementation of the project will enable the development of prof. partnerships and strengthen the competences of project teams. Wide dissemination of results, including through the use of European platforms, will enhance the credibility of the organization.

Background

The motivation for implementing the project stemmed from the market situation in the auditing industry, which is undergoing a transformation. This stems from the implementation of the International Quality Management Standards (hereinafter "MSQM") in January 2023. These changes require audit firms to adapt their operations to international standards. This means that the number of certified auditors will decline in the coming years, while demand for mid-level staff – including qualified auditor assistants (hereinafter "ABR") – will increase. The auditing market, grappling with staff shortages, demonstrates a real need for the project's results – employees with practical auditing skills, supported by international experience. Planned dissemination activities will enable the project to reach a national impact, significantly contributing to reducing the industry's staffing needs. The project leader recognized the potential to address these gaps through collaboration with the vocational education sector and the recruitment of future audit staff from students and graduates of economics technical schools.
