Increased motivation to engage in social and civic activities – participants became more willing to take action for both their local and international communities. Improved language skills – participants had the opportunity to use foreign languages in practice, which contributed to the development of their linguistic competencies. Creation of educational and promotional materials – posters, presentations, photo reports, and videos were created, which can be used in future educational activities.
We decided to implement this project because we wanted to support the development of young people through participation in an international exchange and the acquisition of new experiences. The project responded to the real needs of youth – promoting tolerance, fostering intercultural understanding, and developing interpersonal and language skills. The exchange was a great opportunity for participants to broaden their horizons, build international friendships, and support their personal and professional growth. Taking part in the project allowed young people to gain a deeper understanding of cultural diversity – something that is especially important in today’s globalized world. The project was carried out in cooperation with a partner organization from Athens. It involved young people from Greece as well as participants connected with the Association in Dominikowice. The shared activities, workshops, and meetings were not only a chance for learning, but also for building lasting relationships and mutual understanding.
