The project aimed to develop podcasting as an innovative educational methodology supporting both students and teachers. The main objectives were to help students acquire podcast production skills and improve communication, collaboration and digital competences through creative learning activities. Another objective was to enable teachers to use podcasting as a didactic tool by providing structured training, methodologies and ready-to-use resources. The project also aimed to strengthen entrepreneurial competences by encouraging participants to transform ideas into concrete media projects through teamwork and project-based learning. Additionally, the partnership sought to create open and transferable educational materials that could be used by schools beyond the consortium, contributing to digital transformation in education and supporting long-term innovation through European cooperation.
The project was developed in response to the growing need to strengthen digital, communication and creative skills among students and teachers while making learning more engaging and relevant. Partner schools observed that traditional teaching methods often did not fully motivate learners or develop transversal competences such as collaboration, critical thinking and self-expression. Teachers also needed practical guidance on how to integrate digital technologies into everyday teaching in a meaningful way. At the same time, podcasting was increasingly used in media and education but lacked structured pedagogical frameworks suitable for schools. The project addressed these needs by introducing podcasting as an accessible learning method that supports digital literacy, creativity and active participation. It also responded to the need for open educational resources and international cooperation enabling educators to exchange practices and develop innovative teaching approaches together.
