EPSE's objectives were to ensure academic success and employability, so the commitment to a school with a European dimension, which fosters the mobility of learners, teachers and non-teaching staff, also opening doors to learners and teachers from other countries, helped to minimise situations of poverty, unemployment and social exclusion. The aim was to promote a learning environment rich in opportunities, supported by qualified and motivated professionals.
Escola Profissional da Serra da Estrela (EPSE) believes that international projects allow us to distinguish ourselves in qualitative terms, helping to broaden the offer of quality education opportunities, adapted to the needs of its learners, improving educators' skills in the pedagogical field, developing innovative ideas, projects, methods and practices in order to raise levels of employability and insertion into the European labour market.
