With the implementation and execution of this project we aimed to achieve the following objectives: - Increase the technical skills of the participants in line with the current demands of the labour market, increasing employability; - Increase digital literacy among learners, teachers and staff, contributing to the innovation and digital transformation of the school; - Promote inclusion and diversity in the school context. These objectives were closely linked to the challenges we were facing.
Colégio Dr Luís Pereira da Costa, founded in 1994, teaches the 2nd and 3rd cycles of basic education and vocational education. Over the years, the school's strategy has been strongly conditioned by the socio-economic characteristics of the majority of our students, as we are located in an area where the academic background of the vast majority of parents/guardians is low and it is up to us to minimise the shortcomings due to the lack of support from some families.
