Objectives

Our mobility project has its background on our Erasmus Charter for Higher Education and on our institutional EPS (Erasmus Policy Statement) and is integrated with the general and specific objectives of the Erasmus+ programme. The initial approach was to increase the mobility of students, both for studies and internships, as well as staff for training and teaching. IPT aimed to support the educational, professional and personal development of its academic community in the fields of education and training. The ultimate, but priority, objectives were to combine mobility with concerns for sustainable growth, quality employment and to contribute to innovation and the strengthening of European identity and active citizenship. The specific objectives of this project were to increase the scope of mobility for the entire academic community and to develop BIPs in priority areas: ‘BIP- GraphiMotion Fusion’ and ‘BIP - Making BIPs work’. The two BIPs addressed the relationship between the main themes and the European Union's priority issues, such as diversity, inclusion, the green economy, sustainability and digitalisation. The aim was to promote individual mobility, through its growth in terms of volume, for studies, internships, training and teaching, as well as quality cooperation based on the pillars of innovation and creativity and also on the EU's priority policies regarding inclusion, digitalisation, democratic values and sustainability. Student and staff satisfaction was achieved through increased personal and professional enrichment provided by the mobility experience, through BIP courses focused on an innovative and differentiated approach, and through the expansion of cooperation networks. The project was a success in mobilising, through its activities, the teams that enabled the development of European projects (Heritage, Digistainability, Herit aware, Breath in and YOU THINK), one Erasmus Mundus master's degree (IMPQ), a European university (KreativEu) and a ‘design measures’ initiative. The project also promoted the revitalisation of international classrooms, with more comprehensive internationalisation at home and the sharing of pedagogical, scientific and academic strategies among teachers from various European universities.
