The main objectives to be achieved through the implementation of this project involve energizing and boosting the internationalization of Universidade Lusófona. Aligned with the University's mission and strategic goals, the aim has been to promote academic community mobility by creating the necessary conditions for activities related to sharing, exchange, inter-institutional collaboration, and integration into networks. These efforts encourage the exchange of best practices and pedagogical innovation, enriching curricula and enhancing the quality of academic programs. This strategy is part of broader objectives encompassing areas such as inclusion, digitalization, equal opportunities, and the strengthening of academic, professional, and language skills. Universidade Lusófona is committed to academic excellence, pedagogical innovation, and the internationalization of higher education, consolidating its position as a reference institution within both the Lusophone and European spaces. Through Erasmus+, this strategy has been reinforced by offering the academic community — students, faculty, and staff — opportunities for mobility, cooperation, and professional development. Participation in the program has been a strategic tool for fostering academic mobility, developing intercultural competencies, expanding international partnerships, transferring best practices, and promoting a more open and global institutional culture. During the current project implementation period, the University underwent a significant organizational transformation: Universidade Lusófona do Porto merged with Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, resulting in the current Universidade Lusófona, which now comprises two university centers: Lisbon (CUL) and Porto (CUP). Within the context of CUP, to which this project belongs, there was a noticeable increase in demand for opportunities from both students and staff, resulting in 22 mobilities — representing full implementation (100% of grants awarded). This progress reflects the growing engagement of the academic community and more effective management, made possible by the synergies between the two university centers, thereby strengthening relationships with international partners.
