Objectives

The Erasmus+ programme is essential to the internationalisation strategy of the School of Nursing of the University of Coimbra (ESEUC). It contributes to pedagogical development, strengthening the cognitive, social and psycho-affective skills of students, teachers and technicians. Contact with other realities promotes the appreciation of diversity, new ways of learning and greater awareness of European citizenship. At the same time, the programme fosters research and innovation through partnerships and joint projects. For ESEUC, it represents an opportunity to improve teaching standards, increase the quality of courses and strengthen academic and cultural internationalisation. The impact is also reflected in employability, as many graduates find work, including in the countries where they undertook mobility. Erasmus+ activities enhance the School's external visibility, knowledge sharing and the cultural enrichment of the academic community. The mobility of teachers and technicians is encouraged to create synergies with host institutions, consolidate partnerships and pave the way for new projects, such as joint modules, COIL or BIP. To respond to these challenges, the National and International Relations Office (GRNI) team has three technicians and eight teachers.
