Internationalisation is one of the main focuses at the University of Beira Interior (UBI). The following objectives have been set, taking into account the university's internationalisation strategy: - promoting academic mobility at UBI, consolidating the current internationalisation strategy of the University of Beira Interior and the commitment to diversifying the mobility of students and teaching and non-teaching staff; - promoting and ensuring the participation of all in mobility activities, particularly students with fewer opportunities; - encouraging student participation in short-term mobility, more specifically in Blended Intensive Programmes; - removing obstacles to mobility, ensuring support, guidance and monitoring for outgoing and incoming students; - ensuring the academic recognition of students within the established deadlines; - enhancing and strengthening strategic cooperation and internationalisation with other higher education institutions; - strengthening European identity through greater participation of students and teaching and non-teaching staff in the Erasmus+ Programme.
