The main objective of this project was to create concrete international mobility opportunities for various academic actors – students, teaching staff, and non-academic personnel – promoting learning, training, and the development of transversal and intercultural skills. The Lusofonia Consortium, which brings together six higher education institutions within the Lusófona Group, aimed to optimize human and financial resources, enabling even smaller partner institutions to implement and manage mobility programs with adequate support. Through the implementation of this project, the goal was to consolidate regular mobility across Europe, encouraging the exchange of knowledge and pedagogical experiences between partner institutions. The project also sought to strengthen Universidade Lusófona’s presence in the European context, promoting its institutional identity and creating long-lasting collaboration networks capable of generating impact both at European and international levels. From a pedagogical and strategic perspective, the project aimed to develop participants’ intercultural, digital, and research skills, foster academic cooperation between institutions, and contribute to the integration of innovative and inclusive practices in higher education. By creating a platform for shared experiences and methodologies, the project reinforced the consortium’s role as a facilitator of mobility, collaborative learning, and internationalization, fully aligned with the European Union’s objectives for education and research.
