The main objective of this project was to promote the internationalisation and modernisation of ISTEC Lisbon and ISTEC Porto, reinforcing their position as leading higher education institutions in the field of new technologies, both nationally and in Europe. In a structured manner, the aim was to align the institutional strategy with the European Union's priorities in education and training, namely through the promotion of international mobility, inclusion, pedagogical innovation and the development of digital and transversal skills. At an individual level, the project aimed to create conditions for the personal and professional development of students, teachers and technicians, increasing and diversifying mobility opportunities and encouraging more innovative and effective teaching and learning practices. At the institutional level, the ambition was to modernise organisational and pedagogical structures, strengthen internal skills and consolidate ISTEC's international presence by promoting new academic cooperation networks, establishing strategic partnerships with European institutions and promoting an organisational culture open to the sharing of good practices and the exchange of knowledge. Another key objective was to ensure an inclusive and sustainable approach to mobility by adopting fair selection criteria, promoting equal access to opportunities and raising awareness of sustainable practices. This approach was intended to guarantee not only the immediate quality of internationalisation experiences, but also their long-term positive impact, both at individual and institutional level.
