The 2023 project was implemented with the strategic goal of consolidating and intensifying the internationalization of the institution, in strict compliance with its Strategic Plan and the Erasmus Policy Statement. The primary objective was the continuation of the promotion and increase of mobilities for students, teaching, and non-teaching staff, reinforcing the positive results achieved in previous projects. The specific operational objectives aimed to foster mobility across all cycles of study and encourage participation in various types of mobility, namely in BIP - Blended Intensive Programmes, as well as in study mobilities (SMS) and traineeship mobilities (SMP). It was also intended to expand and diversify the network of partner institutions, while maintaining and consolidating collaboration with long-standing strategic European partners. Institutionally, efforts were made to consolidate the functioning of the Office of International Relations – Mobility (GRIM) within the academic community, ensure continuous improvement through the review of documentation, such as regulations and working procedures aligned with the IES's internal quality management system, and guarantee the full consolidation of Erasmus Without Paper (EWP). Finally, the project sought to intensify direct support for activities and periodic meetings with participants, contributing to the projection of Egas Moniz on the international stage and increasing its attractiveness as an institution of excellence.
