Objectives

The project's implementation aimed to provide an international mobility experience that directly enhanced participants' personal and professional development. A total of 54 people benefited from this initiative. For many students and trainees, these mobility programs represented their first exposure to international academia or professional life, allowing them to apply and complement the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during their academic training. Furthermore, the project offered a valuable opportunity to develop essential soft skills, such as adaptability in multilingual and multicultural contexts, networking, teamwork, leadership, and the ability to work under pressure—skills highly valued by employers. Although there still was a slight decrease in mobility flows for studies, there was a clear increase in mobility for internships, which convinces us that our institution needs to increase funding for internships. For staff (teaching and non-teaching), with all mobility flows completed, these experiences provided the opportunity for a bi-univocal transfer of knowledge, the deepening of the capacity to work in an international context, the development of good practices and the acquisition of new knowledge
