The main focus of this project was to provide Master and Doctoral students as well as recent-graduates of both Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) the opportunity to perform a traineeship abroad. Bearing this in mind, in the Call for this project, and on which concerns Student Mobility, the HEIs only applied to Student Mobility for Traineeships. The aim was also to provide teaching and training opportunities for teaching and non- teaching staff in the fields of health sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The main actors of this project are the two universities, in a partnership with other strategic partners such as Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra (CHUC), Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) and Biocant Associação de Transferência de Tecnologia. The main goal was to connect Higher Education Institutions with entities in order to deliver to students and recent graduates an education focused on the job market needs. Through student and staff mobility, the Consortium promotes an awareness of the importance of linguistic and cultural diversity in Europe, as well as an improvement in the acquired professional and human skills. In this project, for a total of approved mobilities, 238 people benefited directly from the available Erasmus+ grants (134 students and 104 teaching and non- teaching staff).
