Overall, the project aimed to create an innovative and practical tool that could support teachers in their everyday work and contribute to more positive learning envionment
We applied for this project because secondary school teachers across Europe, and particularly in our schools, were facing increasing levels of work-related stress, emotional exhaustion, and a lack of time for meaningful professional development. These challenges were having a negative impact on teachers’ well-being, classroom climate, and student engagement. Traditional training models required teachers to leave school, attend long courses, outside their workday, which made continuous learning difficult. Our project addressed these needs by creating an innovative, flexible and accessible solution: a mobile app offering daily 10-minute microlearning activities focused on essential soft skills such as communication, classroom management, active learning & student engagement, positive attitude, and empathy, supported by technology. This approach responded directly to teachers’ need for practical support, motivation, and professional development that could integrate naturally into their daily routines. The project ultimately aimed to improve teacher well-being, enhance their ability to inspire students, and contribute to a more positive and supportive school environment.
