We wanted to combat the problem of the exclusion of young people from the social sphere, due to the lack of key competences and enriching and inclusive experiences, with the following objectives: - To foster processes of empowerment, connection and involvement of young people so that they develop new skills and access enriching and impactful experiences throughout their lives; - Encourage processes of training, professionalisation and enrichment of the activities of the YWs so that they can develop interventions that are more adjusted to the reality of young people; - Generate greater knowledge about youth work priorities and strategies and, as a result, generate more online initiatives, integrated into the common objectives and with high impact potential; - Valuing cross-curricular and inclusive (non-formal) learning in the development of youth and society. Objective 1: Promote the development of competences and inclusive and intercultural learning among young people for their personal, social and professional development. Our aim was to work with young people on their needs and learning objectives so that they could develop excellent, quality, innovative and inclusive competences and learning, which are essential for their all-round development. In line with the needs identified, we organised non-formal activities tailored to their expectations, in an intercultural environment and using mixed methods, so that young people could have access to new experiences, work collaboratively to solve their objectives, explore their potential, empower themselves and identify solutions for young people, and produce quality results. All this has led to young people becoming more participative, aware, enterprising and proactive in the way they view and manage their future. Objective 2: Empowering youth workers for their professional development and for improving, innovating and increasing quality in youth work. Our aim was to intervene with youth workers so that they could, in pairs and by actively sharing experiences and knowledge, build their capacity to intervene with and for young people in a more innovative, inclusive and quality-enhancing way. To this end, we proposed activating the YWs to identify needs and structure modus operandi to resolve them, with a focus on non-formal and digital methods and their potential. In addition, we boosted the YWs' qualifications, their job satisfaction and their ability to intervene and work with young people. In line with the needs identified, our ambition was to promote spaces for knowledge production and experimentation, where youth workers could learn about new tools and methods for working with young people (including working with young people with FO). Objective 3: Promoting youth participation and development in line with youth priorities and strategies. Our aim was to encourage young people to participate in society to combat the social problem associated with social exclusion. To this end, we promote the empowerment, connection and involvement of young people and the empowerment of youth workers (and, consequently, the organisations they represent), so that they develop more quality youth initiatives, so that young people are informed and aware of current youth-oriented priorities and strategies, and so that they become involved in their community (with an emphasis on rural areas with low youth retention). Following the needs, our ambition was to work in line with the strategies and priorities so that the results and impacts generated would contribute to achieving them. In this way, young people will have a more sustainable, inclusive and interconnected future, with the right opportunities to consolidate their projects and life goals.
