Our aim for this project was to design and provide the learning environment and conditions for a international and diverse group of young people to reflect on our essence as human beings, on the culture, beliefs and information that shape us and that we are confronted with, finding new insights and strategies (individual and collective) on how to live a happy, fulfilled and balanced life with good physical and mental health and wellbeing, with appreciation and care for ourselves, for others and for nature. Consequently, expect that all participants and other people involved would become more active in solving society's main challenges, from the local realities of each community to the national and global challenges. Specifically we aimed to: - Gather a group of 27 young people from 5 different european countries (Germany, Greece, Spain, Ukraine and Portugal) for 8 days, to reflect and reach conclusions on the topic of the project, to take to our lives while also reaching as many people as possible. - Involve young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, in all stages of the project. - Reflect on how to reach a balanced living, in relation to ourselves (our mental health and general wellbeing) and the relationship with others, contributing for a more inclusive, solidary and peaceful society. As well, the connection with nature, the respect and attitude towards nature protection and environmental sustainability and how the three can be interconnected. - Provide the conditions for participants to empower themselves and each other, to become more active citizens, to act towards bringing the changes they see needed in our communities and in society, with respect to the wellbeing of people and the planet. As well to be more involved in each local community, incentivizing other youngsters to fight for those values. - Reflect on society's current main challenges and obstacles (i.e. social, environmental and economic sustainability, human rights, mental health and healthy lifestyles), how they hinder sustainable development of our society at different levels (social, environmental and economical) and how they affect our ability to achieve a personal wellbeing and fulfillment. - Improve the capacity and practices of organisations and people involved, both at an organisational level and in the implementation of ongoing and future NFE activities and projects, from the local to European level. - Create and disseminate our outcomes and outputs as widely as possible to our local communities, to reach more youngsters and inspire reflection on the topics and values promoted by the project. - Guarantee the sustainability of the results and impact of the project on participants, the communities and organisations involved.
