The “SDGs in Action!” project aimed to empower young Europeans to become active agents in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to a more inclusive, aware, and sustainable Europe. It was developed in response to the widespread lack of knowledge about the SDGs, despite the global commitment made through the UN’s 2030 Agenda. In a world facing urgent global challenges such as climate change, social inequalities and exclusion, it is essential to involve young people as key actors of change. This project aimed to provide them with the knowledge, tools, and motivation to act within their communities and across Europe. General objectives of the project: *Promote active youth citizenship, especially European citizenship; *Foster solidarity, tolerance, and social cohesion; *Encourage intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding; *Strengthen European cooperation in the youth field; *Develop personal, social, and professional competences; *Promote inclusion and equal opportunities; *Raise awareness of and promote the Erasmus+ Programme. Specific objectives: *Raise awareness among young people about current social and environmental issues; *Introduce and explore the SDGs in an accessible and participatory way; *Equip young people with tools to get involved in the promotion of the SDGs; *Improve employability, active citizenship, and social inclusion; *Strengthen the capacity of partner organisations to design impactful local sustainability campaigns. The project was implemented through non-formal education methodologies, focusing on experiential and collaborative learning. Through workshops, debates, outdoor activities, and community-based actions, participants were encouraged to reflect and act concretely. The cultural diversity of the participants, coming from different countries, enhanced intercultural dialogue and respect for diversity, reinforcing a sense of European identity. We believe participants returned home more aware, motivated, and with ideas to contribute to both local and global sustainability. Well-being was also promoted through healthy lifestyle initiatives, especially the use of outdoor activities and sports as tools for inclusion and social engagement. ProAtlântico, as the coordinating organisation, ensured the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and created a safe and welcoming environment. The active involvement of six European partner organisations from the planning stage ensured the project addressed both local and European needs. The title “SDGs in Action!” reflected the project's aim to bring the SDGs to life in a practical and engaging way. All activities were aligned with the Erasmus+ priorities and the Youthpass framework, ensuring recognition of the skills and learning outcomes achieved by participants. The project was planned using the Problem Tree tool and the Logical Framework Matrix, ensuring coherence between needs, objectives, and outcomes. In summary, the youth exchange created a meaningful learning space, promoting personal development and concrete action. It clearly contributed to the Erasmus+ Programme objectives in the youth sector, with visible impact on participants, partner organisations, and their communities
