Objectives

The project emerged in the context of combating gender-based social exclusion, recognizing the urgency of working with new generations to ensure that they become active agents of change, rather than passive observers of persistent inequalities. We start from the premise that progress towards gender equality depends on informing, raising awareness, and empowering young citizens, equipping them with the skills and tools they need to understand and intervene in the reality that surrounds them. We believe that young people have not only the potential but also the responsibility to promote positive change in society. To this end, it is essential to offer them opportunities for critical learning, creative expression, and participatory involvement. In this regard, the following objectives have been defined: a. GENERAL OBJECTIVE - To promote the civic participation of young people in combating gender inequality. b. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES -Develop essential lifelong learning skills that are fundamental to the exercise of full citizenship and active participation in social causes; -Empower young people to use film as a means of participating in democratic life; -Raise awareness among young people of fundamental European values, namely inclusion, respect for diversity and equality, and the links to the place of women in today's society. The methodology adopted was based on Non-Formal Education (NFE) and the use of film as an accessible, expressive, and mobilizing language, promoting critical reflection and the active participation of young people as protagonists of social change.
