The main aim of implementing the project was to combat cyberbullying by promoting a preventive and interventional approach. To this end, the following specific objectives were defined: - Strengthen the capacity of youth workers in preventive and interventional work in the face of cyberbullying, enabling them to deal with this problem with young people; - Digitally empower young people by giving them the knowledge they need to recognise and protect themselves against cyberbullying; - Promote the active participation of young people in the development of effective strategies to prevent and combat cyberbullying, giving them a voice in the process; - To actively involve young people in awareness-raising activities, promoting awareness of the impact of cyberbullying and the importance of a safe and respectful online environment. With this set of objectives, we sought to directly impact the youth community by providing them with tools and strategies to tackle cyberbullying, while encouraging a change in mentality and behaviour in the digital environment.
The ClickNoBullying project arose from our intention to combat cyberbullying, which has become a growing form of violence among young people, with serious consequences for their well-being and mental health, such as depression and suicide. The project wanted to respond to the need to: -Develop digital skills in Youth Workers, enabling them to guide young people in the safe and ethical use of technology and to act in situations of cyberbullying; -Empower young people digitally, promoting digital citizenship and media literacy, helping them to identify and protect themselves from harmful behaviour; -Increasing young people's resilience by providing them with tools to deal with cyberbullying; -Creating solutions to this phenomenon; -Fostering a culture of digital safety, in line with European child protection directives; - Contribute to building a safer digital environment for all; - Improve the capacity and quality of the consortium organisations' work in the field of digitalisation and combating cyberbullying.
