Through the implementation of the project, we set out to achieve the following objectives: O1. To develop the skills for working with seniors for at least 20 individuals (staff and volunteers) within the Association; O2. To increase by at least 20% the number of seniors involved in senior-focused activities by applying the skills and knowledge acquired during mobilities.
Our organization is the successor of the highly successful project Grandparents’ Academy. We could not disappoint the 300 participants who attended the Academy’s workshops by ending the activities once the project concluded, so we proposed the Playground for Grandparents. This initiative was very well received, both by the local Brăila community (First Prize at the Brăila Community Excellence Gala, 2022 edition) and nationally (award at the National Conference on Best Practices for Active Aging
