Objectives

The project aimed to train 19 librarians to achieve the following objectives: diversifying the range of STE(A)M activities; developing a new non-formal education program for the adult population; enhancing the cultural awareness of 40 adult participants; and running a new digital workshop. Thus, the library contributed to lifelong learning and the integration of adults into the digital society.

Background

The project aimed to support the lifelong learning of adults in a constantly changing society. Given that today's adults were educated using traditional methods, the library identified the need to support the development of essential skills for the 21st century. Thus, the project provided learning opportunities in areas such as STE(A)M, digital skills, and cultural awareness through interactive activities and workshops.
