By implementing this project, Vox Civica wants to increase the level of digital skills among people with fewer opportunities, given the rapid changes that have occurred in this field both as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and the progress made in the ICT field. Also, a problem has arisen due to increasing energy prices that generate additional difficulties for those who do not have digital skills (transmitting the utility index, giving up the printed bill, communicating with artificial intelligence terminals). In terms of sustainable development, many people, especially people with limited opportunities, do not know anything about its meaning. That's why we want to train a number of four people who have gained skills in sustainable development to involve them in community campaigns, at the local level, to raise awareness and promote the concept of sustainable development.
This project needs to be funded because there are several problems identified among people with fewer opportunities in two areas of great interest for the general policies of the European Union, namely digitization and sustainable development. In a survey carried out by Vox Civica between January 15 and February 15 a.c. we identified several issues that require a direct approach from which we chose the ones mentioned as a priority. The approach we propose through this project is to train people in the digitalization field, at an advanced level, to become trainers for the organization's trainees, who mostly come from people with fewer opportunities. Also, in the development of sustainable development, we need promoters to develop campaigns to raise awareness and promote the selective collection of waste, recycling and the circular economy, as well as changes in individual and collective consumer behaviour.
