Participating in Erasmus+ is an opportunity for students to develop specific skills and improve their professional competences, preparing them for their future careers. Direct contact with staff and guests from different countries helps them to understand and appreciate different cultures, enhancing their language and intercultural competences. We expect that by participating in Erasmus+, the quality of education will improve and our high school will increase its locally prestige.
In 2013 our school introduced a Services class in its educational offer, with Tourism Technician vocational field. After 10 years, we conducted a needs analysis to identify the competencies and skills that need to be developed in students and how an international mobility program could address these needs. At the same time, a school involved in an Erasmus+ project becomes more attractive to talented students, interested in qualitative educational opportunities and international experiences.
