By implementing the Erasmus+ programme, the University of Oradea intended to employ the objectives/directives of the European Commission. The main objective was to support professional, educational and personal development of all the participants to the programme. The project aimed at reaching a more flexible learning, increasing the variety of courses, developing students and staff digital skills. These activities are meant to approaching topics lacking these competences, improving career orientation and organising activities supporting the acquision of transferable, entrepreneurial and digital skills. The focus was to find solutions to gaps and inconsistencies by promoting innovative pedagogy, to create and develop new curricula meeting the needs of the students while being relevant to the labour market and the needs of the society. Another aim was to promote and reward excellence in teaching and skills development including the correlation between education and research and innovation, as well as promoting teaching and learning partnership with the private sector.
