Between 01.06.2023 and 31.07.2025, the Erasmus+ mobility project was implemented at the level of the Dimitrie Cantemir University of Targu Mures. Through the implementation of the project, we aimed to provide participants with opportunities for personal and professional development in a European context, by enhancing their professional experience, as well as their linguistic, intercultural, and specialized competences. The central objective of the project was to support the academic and personal development of students and university teaching staff by facilitating international experiences that contribute to improving the quality of the educational process and strengthening institutional collaboration. The project focused both on the individual growth of participants and on expanding the cooperation network at the European level, bringing long-term benefits to our university and to the partner institutions involved. Through the academic mobilities carried out, several important objectives were achieved, such as: • increasing the visibility and internationalization of the university through the development of new cooperation opportunities and the signing of interinstitutional agreements; • strengthening the partnerships between our institution and partner institutions; • improving the quality of the educational process through the integration of international experiences; • diversifying and enhancing the educational experience by offering students and staff access to teaching and learning methods from different educational systems, as well as exposure to varied professional and cultural environments; • developing transversal competences, particularly adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills; • promoting an open, diverse, and intercultural academic environment that supports both the development of students and the professional growth of teaching staff. Overall, the project contributed to consolidating the university’s position within the European Higher Education Area and to creating a sustainable framework for academic cooperation and innovation.
