The Erasmus+ programme continues to represent one of the main opportunities for internationalisation for "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacau, with our institution setting annual targets to be achieved within the European mobility programme. The ERASMUS+ financial contract no. 2023-1-RO01-KA131-HED-000126706, managed by "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacau, provided for student and staff mobility between 2023 and 2025 (26 contractual months) and aimed at the ongoing international orientation of our University. The objectives stated in the strategic documents of "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacau are in line with the Erasmus Policy Statement included in the application for the Erasmus Charter 2021-2027 (ECHE). Therefore, the Charter of "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacau provides for the development of national and international mobility activities for students, teachers, and researchers within European or international programmes. Furthermore, the institutional strategic plans for the periods 2020-2024 and 2024-2029, as well as the annual operational plans of "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacau, consistently include among their objectives the development of cooperation relations with partners in Romania and worldwide (https://www.ub.ro/programe-si-strategii).
