The Erasmus+ Programme is included in the internationalization strategy of our university, as a priority direction of action. Our University is proud to be a higher education institution that offers study programs at high-quality educational standards, hosting more than 3300 international students coming from 60 countries worldwide who choose to study at our university in French and English study programs. Over the years, it has been observed that the mobilities financed and carried out within the Erasmus framework contribute to facilitating the exchange and transfer of knowledge in the medical and pharmaceutical field, one of the most globalized in the world. The European strategy of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Iuliu Hatieganu" of Cluj-Napoca supports the continuation of cooperation within the Erasmus+ Programme with institutions from countries participating in the Program, as well as from neighboring countries or other regions, based on the identification of common points of interest, in terms of education or research. The international mobility of people is a main pillar in the process of internationalization, increasing the volume and quality of international cooperation, as well as increasing the visibility of the institution. The Erasmus+ mobility project 2023-1-RO01-KA131-HED-000132011 is a logical continuation of previous projects. The project aimed at boosting mobility flows and consolidating the volume of Erasmus+ exchanges carried out previously. In the long term, one of the objectives of the mobility project was to improve the professional training of graduates and the quality of the educational process, so that our graduates, who have solid training and linguistic and multicultural skills, can practice in any healthcare system around the world.
