Objectives

Through the implementation of the Erasmus+ project at Tibiscus University of Timișoara, a series of essential objectives have been pursued, aimed at strengthening the process of internationalization of education. The university aims to grow by capitalizing on partnerships and international cooperation. Through the Erasmus+ Office, the institution places special emphasis on: - creating an inclusive, innovative educational environment, adapted to the requirements of the European Education Area; - integrating international expertise into teaching, research, and innovation, thus offering students and staff opportunities for academic and personal development. Erasmus+ projects represent an essential tool in achieving these objectives, contributing to the improvement of linguistic, digital, and, above all, interpersonal skills. The strategic development directions on which the Erasmus+ Office focuses include: - Supporting foreign language learning and integrating language awareness into education – the project facilitated access to international mobility, collaborations, and knowledge exchanges, which contributed to the increase of the university’s academic prestige and the consolidation of its partnership network; - Preparing students for future challenges by acquiring essential digital skills – participation in Erasmus+ programs led to the development of linguistic, digital, and interpersonal competencies, indispensable for employability and adaptation to a constantly changing world; - Developing the capacity to adapt to new skills, promoting entrepreneurial spirit and active citizenship; - Promoting diversity and intercultural understanding, with the aim of building an open and collaborative academic community; - Creating mobility opportunities for students with fewer resources and ensuring equal access to international educational programs, thus supporting social inclusion. The university supports academic mobility for both students and teaching and non-teaching staff.
