The Erasmus+ program is integral to Ion Mincu’s University of Architecture and Urbanism internationalization strategy, aligning with the institutional Strategic Plan. The project's objectives focused on increasing and diversifying academic exchanges, developing international partnerships, and cultivating existing ones. A major objective was significantly increasing participation in blended mobilities to enhance program accessibility - 22 students and 7 staff members benefited from this modality, diversifying the programs participated in and enabling access for those with financial constraints or care responsibilities. The main innovation was the successful implementation of our first Blended Intensive Program "From Vernacular Architecture to New Adaptive Technologies," after being unable to organize such a program in previous years. The collaboration with three prestigious European universities (Universitat Liechtenstein, Universita degli Studi di Catania, Technische Universitaet Wien) combined theory with hands-on fieldwork in the Danube Delta. Participant selection adhered to transparent and non-discriminatory criteria, recognizing academic performance and ensuring equal opportunities. The existence of our own academic program in English remains one of the foundations of internationalization and the institution's strategic objectives. We made sustained efforts to comply with digital management tools, integrating Inter-institutional Agreements and Learning Agreements with Erasmus Without Papers, achieving 85% digital signature rate. Objectives also included consolidating the tradition of international juries for diploma projects and promoting our university as an attractive destination for incoming mobilities, maintaining standards of excellence in architectural education.
