Objectives

The project 2023-1-RO01-KA131-HED-000138932, implemented by the Henri Coanda Air Force Academy, was developed as an integral part of the institution’s internationalization strategy and its alignment with European standards in education, training, and professional development. The project aimed to address the needs of students as well as academic and administrative staff by offering opportunities for international mobility within the European Higher Education Area. The Henri Coanda Air Force Academy considers international mobility a key instrument for the development of academic, intercultural, and language competences among students, while also contributing to the enhancement of educational quality through the continuous professional development of teaching and administrative staff. Additionally, the project supported the consolidation of strategic partnerships with higher education institutions across Europe, thereby increasing the international visibility of the Academy. The general objectives of the project were: increasing the level of internationalization of the institution through the development of new partnerships and intensification of mobility flows; improving the professional skills of students, supporting the professional development of teaching and administrative staff through participation in teaching and training activities in international contexts; promoting inclusion and equal opportunities by encouraging the participation in mobility of students with fewer opportunities; supporting digital transition and sustainability by encouraging the exchange of good practices in key areas, in accordance with the priorities of the Erasmus+ Program. The project included mobility activities for students (for study purposes and internships) and for institutional staff (for teaching and training purposes), in line with the priorities of the Erasmus+ program: inclusion and diversity, sustainability, digital transformation, and active civic participation.
