Objectives

By implementing this project, we aimed to create real opportunities for learning and development for the students and staff of the National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale" through international mobilities for studies, traineeships, teaching, and training. We wanted to offer participants experiences that would enrich their academic and professional journey, while also developing their intercultural skills, adaptability, and civic engagement – all essential qualities for their future artistic and educational careers. A central objective of the project was to enhance the quality of education through the exchange of good practices and collaboration with academic and cultural institutions in Europe and beyond. We sought to provide students with access to diverse educational and professional contexts, to stimulate creativity and innovation in the fields of performing arts and filmmaking, and to encourage them to become ambassadors of European values. At the same time, the project aimed to strengthen the international cooperation capacity of our university, in line with our institutional strategy and the European priorities for higher education. By developing sustainable partnerships and integrating results into academic and cultural life, we sought to increase the visibility of UNATC at European level, to reinforce the international dimension of our programmes and to actively contribute to building a common European education and culture area. Last but not least, the project aimed to promote inclusion and diversity by facilitating the participation of students with fewer opportunities and by creating a supportive and accessible framework for all. In this way, Erasmus+ became not only a mobility instrument but also a meaningful experience, capable of bringing long-term benefits both for participants and for our academic community and partners.
